These are the instructions to use the ODIN to flash or install firmware on the Samsung SM-J260T Device.
How to Flash (install) Samsung SM-J260T Combination File
Step 1: Download and install Samsung SM-J260T USB Driver on your Windows computer (if Samsung Drivers are already installed on the computer, then SKIP this step).
Step 2: Download and extract Odin Downloader on the Computer (if you already have Odin Downloader Tool then SKIP this step).
Step 3: Download and extract Samsung SM-J260T Combination Firmware on your computer. After extracting the combination firmware, you may see similar files (file name may vary as per the Samsung SM-J260T model number): 
Step 4: Now, Power Off your Samsung SM-J260T Device. 
Step 5: Now, you have to boot your Samsung SM-J260T Device into the Download Mode. For Old Samsung Devices (with physical home button): To boot the device into the download mode: Press and Hold Power + Home + Volume Down button together for 6-8 seconds. 
For New Samsung Devices (without physical home button): To boot the device into the download mode: Press and Hold Bixby + Volume Down then Hold Power button. Step 6: Once you have successfully booted into the download mode, you will be able to see the Warning Triangle on the device screen. Now, press the Volume UP key to continue. 
Step 7: Open Odin Downloader (you have downloaded and extracted in step#2). Step 8: Once Odin Downloader Tool is launched, you have to connect your Samsung SM-J260T Device to the computer using the USB cable. 
Step 9: Once your device is connected to the computer, Odin will automatically detect it, and you will be able to see Added message in the Log area. 
Step 10: Now, Click on the AP button and select the Samsung SM-J260T combination firmware from the firmware folder. 
Step 11: Now, Click on the Start button to begin the flashing or installing Samsung SM-J260T . Flashing Process may take upto 5-10 minutes to complete. 
Step 12: Once flashing or installing process is completed, you will be able to see the Green Pass message in Odin Downloader.
Now, disconnect your Samsung SM-J260T device from the computer. 
Step 13: Now, you need to restart Samsung SM-J260T device (ignore if the device already started).
