These are the step-by-step instructions on how to flash Stock ROM using Qcom Phone Download Tool on Qualcomm-based Android phones and tablets.

Before proceeding to the instructions on how to flash Stock firmware using Qcom Phone Downloader, it is recommended to follow the below-mentioned preparation steps for a smoother flashing process.

Preparation:

• Backup all of your important data to a safe place as flashing firmware wipes all of your data and settings.
• Make sure your Android device is charged to at least 50% battery before proceeding to flash the firmware.

How to use Qcom Phone Download Tool to Flash Android Firmware

Step 1: Download and install the suitable Android USB Driver on your computer. If you already have the drivers installed on your computer, then you can skip this step.

Step 2: Download Android Stock Firmware for your Android phone or tablet from here on to your computer.

Step 3: Download and extract the Qcom Phone Download Tool on your computer. After extracting, you will see the following files.

Step 4: Now open “GN_Qcom_Download_Tools.exe” that you have extracted in Step #3.

Step 5: Once the Qcom Phone Download Tool launches, you will see the following screen.

Step 6: Now, click on the drop button from the top right corner and select “English” as the language.

Step 7: Now, under UpDataType select Save Production Data.

Step 8: Now click on the SoftPath Browse […] button and locate the firmware folder that you want to flash on your Android phone or tablet.

Step 9: Now click on the “Start Download” button.

Step 10: Now Power off your phone and connect it to the computer using a USB data cable.

Step 11: Once your phone is successfully connected to the computer, the flashing process should start automatically.

Step 12: Once the flashing process is completed, you will see the Pass message in Qcom Phone Downloader.

Step 13: Now close the Qcom Phone Download Tool and disconnect your device from the computer and reboot it.
